Bob Webster
Bob has hosted the KTSA Garden Show since 1993. He is one of the state’s leading proponents of organic and natural gardening. He is the author of Gardening South Texas, available in most local books stores and garden centers. He also is the co-owner of Shades of Green Nursery in San Antonio, founded in 1980.

Bruce Deuley
Bruce is the host of Organic Matters on KTSA and KGNB radio stations, where he discusses organic gardening and organic lifestyles. His book is The Organic Guide to Gardening. He frequently speaks to groups and organizations on organic home recipes, organic cooking and organic products. He markets a wide range of organic oriented products on his websites.

Stuart Franke
Stuart is owner and president of Hondo-based Medina Agriculture Products. “Medina Ag” manufactures such natural products as Medina Hasta-Gro, Medina Granular Organic Fertilizer, Medina Plus and Medina Soil Activator. He frequently speaks to groups on organic and natural gardening, farming and ranching. He has consulted farmers and ranchers around the world.

Judy Barrett
Judy is the founding editor and publisher of Homegrown: Good Sense Organic Living for Texas. She was previously the editor of The New Garden Journal and one of the hosts of the public television series, The New Garden. A long time organic gardener, Judy writes for various regional and national gardening publications. Her books include: Tomatillos: A Gardener’s Dream–A Cook’s Delight and How to Become an Organic Gardener in 7 Easy Steps. Her new book, “What Can I Do With My Herbs?” was published earlier this year by Texas A&M Press. She resides in Taylor, Texas and holds BA and MA degrees in English from The University of Texas at Austin and has edited books on a variety of topics.

Malcolm Beck
Malcolm began organic gardening in 1957 when he started his first vegetable farm. His success using organic methods led him to begin making compost commercially, and in 1980, he incorporated the Garden-Ville Fertilizer Company. He is now recognized as one of the leading experts in organic and natural gardening, and lectures to groups around the world. His books include The Garden-Ville Method, The Secret Life of Compost, Lessons in Nature, and, with Howard Garret, The Texas Bug Book and Texas Organic Vegetable Gardening.

John Dromgoole
John has hosted the organic gardening radio show (Gardening Naturally) on Austin’s KLBJ for 27 years. It is the longest, continuously running, organic gardening show in the nation. He also owns The Natural Gardener Nursery in Austin, and Lady Bug Brand products. Last year, The Natural Gardener nursery was honored with the national award of “Innovative Garden Center of the Year” by Garden Center Magazine. He was one of the co-authors of the organic standards for the Texas Department of Agriculture and founded Austin’s Chemical Clean-Up Day programs. He has hosted the PBS series The New Gardener and currently appears regularly on Central Texas Gardener, also on PBS. His numerous awards include “Texas Legendary Promoter of Organics”.
